I dedicated much of my professional career to the promotion of Breastfeeding and to patient education. In 2006, I co-founded LATCH, a peer-counseling group for breastfeeding mothers, along with 7 wonderful women. In 2010 I joined a wonderful team of physicians in the Unang Yakap (Essential Newborn and Intrapartum Care) Program. Though I no longer have an official practice, I find myself answering many emails and questions about breastfeeding and child care. I hope to devote a portion of this blog to answering those questions.
The rest of this blog is a repository for thoughts on all other things I interesting and mundane, including (but not limited to) food, travel, books, parenting and small town life.
